A unique point of view on your shows
Imagine, for your event (festival, show, conference), a set made of stages suspended in the trees! Luna is a platform of suspended scenes, fully modular and adaptable to your needs and desires. Luna can present a single scene around a tree (360°), or unfold in several scenes of different sizes...
A unique link between artists and spectators
For artists, speakers and the public, who express a growing need to be always closer to nature, Luna is a truly immersive experience. Connected to the energy of the trees, each participant thus has the feeling of living in common a moment... out of the ordinary. And of course, it creates links…
A unique and patented technology
After the design and fulfilment stages, and after complying with safety standards, Luna brilliantly passed its first "life-size" test in August 2019 in the outstanding site of Trégastel (22): 3 stages of different sizes arranged in a circle and at different heights ready to welcome music bands, solo artists and DJs in front of more than 500 spectators for an exceptional evening.
Safety, competence, expertise and respect for trees are the key words of the crew and its founder Erwan Le Couillard, to support and advise you on drawing up your own event.
The Crew —
Before creating Luna in 2017, Erwan Le couillard had several lives in the trees :
- Picker-Climber for the ONF (French Forestry Commission and for scientific missions in primary forests ;
- Tree Climbing Teacher (EGA) ;
- President of the National Union of Tree Climbers (6 years), where he notably initiated the creation of the Professional Qualification Certificate for Tree Climbing Educators ;
- Erwan is also the brain & leader of Utopiarbre.
This former collective, now a simplified joint-stock company, is dedicated to tree climbing training, discovery and accessibility for all, especially people with disabilities.
In 2019, Utopiarbre received the Innovation Trophy from the Federation of Hospital and Personal Assistance institutions (category “sports, well-being and adapted health”).
Etienne Sigros passed his architectural diploma in Paris and quickly went back to Grenoble in a way to enjoy again Alps summits. Between architectural projects and climbing, as an altitude lover, he actually felt inclined to take part of the challenge offered by Luna project’s concept.
Thanks to a degree in architecture, Léa Hippolyte joined the prestigious firm of architects, SANAA in Tokyo, where she espacialy worked on the La Samaritaine project in Paris. Four years later, she decided to change her life, moved to Grenoble to devote herself to her own projects, closer to nature, to her aspirations... And meet Etienne by the way.
30 years old. A graduate of EGA (Tree Climbing Educator), Engineer in product design and mechanical design, Guillaume Maurin think up and develops within his company SELVAO of climbing equipment and suspended accommodation in harmony with nature. Obviously, the suspended scenes of Luna had to be built, assembled and tested in his workshops.
An EGA graduate, rope access technician and trainer, Laurent Thily has been working alongside Erwan Le Couillard since 2006, particularly in the field of disability.
Present since the beginnings of Utopiarbre with Sylvain, they naturally climbed into Luna project, where they ensure the supervision of the artists, and fixing and dismantling works.
After several seasons working on ski lifts and then in tree climbing, Marc Le Meudec alias « Marco » trained in tree climbing (EGA) with Erwan in 2009, then passed his CS of Arborist. Passionné de percussions, ses idées de concerts dans les arbres rejoignent vite celles d’Erwan. Percussions lover, he felt like giving concerts in the trees and quickly joined Erwan’s adventure : starting point of the first platforms dedicated to concerts in the trees came out in 2012.
An EGA graduated and trainer, Sylvain Brochard is also a volunteer fireman.
Present from the very beginnings of Utopiarbre with Laurent, both naturally climbed up to Luna project &, as stage managers, ensure the supervision of the artists, fixing and dismantling works
